Join us for a two part event exploring the world of artist prints!
At 5 pm EarlyWork members are invited to a champagne meet and greet with Jessica Cochran and Angee Lennard, the founders of Chicago-based artist print editions program, Process/ Process.
At 6 pm, Jessica and Angee will walk us through the art of print with a casual, in-person presentation of some of their most recent collaborations with artists.Artists’ prints are everywhere – from the walls of hotels like the 21C Museum Hotel Chicago to museums large and small, and even on sites like Etsy. But many don’t know what an artist’s print actually is (and are too afraid to ask)!
Enjoy a glass of wine and learn about artworks by Selva Aparicio, Selina Trepp, and Magalie Geúrin. Guests will leave with new knowledge about print processes, the advantages and accessibility of buying prints, and even have a hands-on opportunity to make a 21c penguin print themselves.
This event is presented in partnership with 21c Museum Hotel Chicago and Process/ Process.
